Detroit Regional Chamber
Originally this group was a chamber of commerce that dealt with Detoit issues as it related to Detroit Businesses. Then it added the word Greater and began supporting regional business inside and outside of Detroit. Lastly the commerce portion of the name was dropped and this group which once supported Detroit area businesses is now pushing for regionalization of Detroit. This includes the talked about regionalization of the water department, the lighting department and the Detroit Department of Transportation, DDOT.
